The Union of North American Vietnamese Student Associations (uNAVSA) was created in 2004 to organize and develop youth leadership within the North American Vietnamese American community. uNAVSA launched the Collective Philanthropy Project (CPP) at its annual conference in 2005 as a means for Vietnamese American youth from across the continent to hone leadership skills and strengthen community ties through collaboration on a national service project.
